Studio history
Founded and directed by Debra Bricker, who enjoyed a distinguished classical ballet career. Bricker trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts, the National Ballet of Canada, and American Ballet Theatre (on full scholarship), and performed with ABT and the National Ballet of Canada — including Live from Lincoln Center broadcasts of Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Firebird — as well as the Atlanta, Boston, Wilmington, New Orleans, Alexandra and South Carolina ballet companies. She was a principal dancer with Columbia City Ballet, where she also served as Company Ballet Mistress and Assistant to the Director.
