About this studio
The Auckland Academy of Dance is one of New Zealand's leading dance academies, providing high-caliber training from preschool through to professional dancers. With a history spanning roughly 40 years, the academy offers classes for all ages — mums-n-bubs, preschoolers, school-aged students from primary to advanced levels, and adults.
Its philosophy holds that dance gives a lifetime structure of emotional, physical and mental well-being regardless of whether a student aims for a professional career. The academy is also the new home of the UNITEC Contemporary Dance Department.

Your first visit
Classes are available for every age and stage, from parent-and-baby and preschool through graded primary-to-advanced students and adult classes. New students enrol by term; vocational seminars help intermediate-to-advanced students prepare for examinations.
