Cateloose Dance and Movement Studio (Cut Loose with Cate) is led by Cate Curtis, a lifelong dancer and movement instructor offering private and group classes across many styles — partner and solo dancing, blues, salsa, swing, fusion, yoga, Zumba, and mobility/flexibility training. The studio sits 38 floors above downtown Chicago at 8 S Michigan Ave, Suite 3800, directly across from the Bean (Cloud Gate) in Millennium Park, with skyline views.
What to expect
Your first visit
New students can try a first class for $5 (promo code WANNATRY26 on a drop-in or single session). All levels are welcome and no partner is needed for group classes. Private lessons begin with a complimentary 20-minute Zoom consultation and are tailored to the student goals, whether new learner, advanced dancer, or preparing for a special event. A photo ID is required to enter the building; take the express elevators to the 36th floor, then the stairwell up to the 38th.
