About this studio
Fachakademie für Ballett und Tanz is the largest ballet training academy in Styria (Steiermark), based in Graz at Hofgasse 10. It is the only training institution in the region led by a registered Royal Academy of Dance (RAD® London) teacher, Ekaterina Christou-Lewin (ARAD RTS Dipl.
PDTD). More than 170 students currently attend. The academy delivers a classical dance education following the latest ballet pedagogy, offering both a structured Bildungsplan (Little Ballerina, Austrian Youth Ballet program, RAD curriculum) and a professional vocational track for aspiring ballet dancers, supported by workshops, performances and international guest lecturers.
What to expect
Your first visit
Designed for interested children and teenagers — boys and girls — who enjoy dance and want a classical training. Instruction is performance-differentiated and individualized by age and existing ability, with methodical, health-conscious attention to physical development stages. Students are prepared for annual RAD examinations administered by international examiners; passing earns an RAD certificate. There are also opportunities to take part in competitions and academy performances with the Austrian Youth Ballet.
