Hevzso Studio

Hevzso Studio is a movement and dance community space in Budapest, Hungary, that combines dance classes with other arts activities, craft workshops, and themed camps. It grew out of an organic, roughly 20-year teaching practice led by dance pedagogue Hevér Zsófia, who has worked with both adults and children since 2005.

The studio's program emphasizes inclusion, creativity, openness, and mutual support, welcoming everyone from young children to grandparents and from beginners to advanced movers. Children's and teen classes focus on developing individuality and self-acceptance through playful, unforced movement, while adult offerings let participants choose class types suited to their fitness level and personality. Group dynamics and spontaneity are central — classes may move to a nearby park or start with painting that then shapes the choreography.

First-time visitors will find a welcoming, community-oriented studio rather than a competition-focused school. Class offerings span dance and movement for all ages: creative children's dance, contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, Latin dance for women, belly dance, plus swing styles (Lindy Hop, Solo Charleston and Jazz), and a range of fitness and wellness classes (yoga, Pilates, functional training, core work, Nia, DEEPWORK).
