Inspiration Danse Studio (IDS) is a Paris dance school specializing in partner dance, located at 38 rue des Ormeaux in the 20th arrondissement near Nation. It brings together the main pillars of couple dancing — ballroom/salon dances, swing, and Afro-Caribbean dances — offering classes, workshops (stages), and social dance evenings for all ages and levels.
Styles include rock, salsa, bachata, West Coast Swing, Brazilian zouk, kizomba, and waltz. The teaching team are active, practicing dancers committed to continually developing their own craft so they can better share it with students.
What to expect
Your first visit
Students can come alone or as a couple, with courses for every taste, age, and need. Beyond regular classes, IDS hosts social dance evenings (soirées dansantes) from 20h00 to midnight where students practice all the dances, with shows and demonstrations to set the atmosphere. Entry is around 10€ when held at the IDS studio.
