About this studio
Phoenix Dance Theatre is a Leeds-based contemporary dance company with the tagline "Creating Extraordinary Dance." Based at St Cecilia Street in the Quarry Hill cultural quarter, the company tours nationally, collaborates with partners such as Opera North, and has had acclaimed productions (including "Requiem") broadcast on the BBC and available on BBC iPlayer. Alongside its professional repertory, Phoenix runs a Youth Academy and an extensive education and participation programme.
