Society Hill Dance Academy has been Philadelphia's favorite dance studio since 2002, specializing in both instruction and social "merriment" for dancers of all levels. The studio offers private lessons, lively group classes, practice sessions, and monthly theme parties across a wide range of ballroom, Latin, and social styles — including Salsa, Mambo, Hustle, East and West Coast Swing, Merengue, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Samba, Bolero, Paso Doble, Jive, Argentine Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, and Quickstep.
It uses a three-point learning system — private lessons to develop technique, group classes to build muscle memory, and parties to instill confidence — so students gain continuity and confidence on any dance floor. The spacious two-story venue is also available to rent for private events.
