About this studio
Swing and Dance is a social ballroom dancing series (Gesellschaftstanz) in Basel, Switzerland, hosted by Stephan and Ella Waser. The evenings center on classic partner dances — Walzer (waltz), Cha-Cha, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Jive, Paso Doble and more — set to music in a friendly, social atmosphere where guests come to glide across the floor, enjoy the music, and connect with fellow dance enthusiasts. The organizers also run an affiliated ballroom dance circle (Gesellschaftstanzzirkel) in Dornach and a related Tango Argentino course cycle (Tan-a-gogo).

Your first visit
Social ballroom dance evenings held on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, with dancing from 8:00 PM at QZ Oekolampad, Allschwilerplatz 22, Basel. Monthly specials highlight a featured dance. Couples with dance experience can also join the ongoing ballroom dance circle in Dornach.
