About this studio
Hanser (kurzysalsa.cz) is a Latin and Cuban dance school based in Prague, led by Cuban dancer and pedagogue Hanser Raúl Estenoz Verdecia. The school teaches not only dance steps but healthy, posture- and breath-aware movement, emphasizing joy, relaxation and lifelong dancing. Styles taught include Cuban salsa, bachata, Brazilian samba, reggaeton, salsa solo, Cuban folklore, Czech folk dance and a Latino-Caribbean mix.

Students can choose from a range of Latin dance courses; beginners and advanced dancers alike are welcomed. The studio's LatinArte ensemble is also available to book for Latin-American dance performances.
Studio history
Hanser Raúl Estenoz Verdecia was born in Havana, Cuba, and trained for five years at the Escuela Nacional de Arte in Havana in Afro-Cuban folklore and musical-theatre dance. At seventeen he became the youngest professional dancer at Havana's Tropicana cabaret, later performing in Brazil and Senegal. He moved to Prague in 2016 and founded the LatinArte ensemble, and in 2024 completed a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Pedagogy at the Academy of Performing Arts (AMU) in Prague.
