Discusses national-school distinctions ('Spanier die Sarabande, ein Frantzose die Menuet, ein Engelländer die Gigve, und ein Teutscher oder Pohle die Bourrée'). Contains the famous Mercurius quote about the abundance of French dance-titles ('So viel die Frantzosen Tantze haben, so viel absonderliche Nahmen und Spaniern haben sie auch').
