Twenty Four Country Dances for the Year 1771 (Thompson, London 1770-71)

Thompson annual country-dance sheet: 24 country dances with proper tunes and directions, 'as they are perform'd at court, Bath, & all publick assemblys'. Part of the Thompson annual run that bridges between LOC-1770c-THOMPSON (Compleat Collection Vols I-II, ~216 dances) and the deferred Compleat Vol III 1775c. The yearly annuals were sold at 6d and subscribed to by ball-room musicians and dancing-masters across England for the coming season's repertory. Only 4 named dances are extractable from the present OCR scan (title-line capture only -- the figure text is heavily engraving-corrupted): Warwickshire Will, Cullodon Fight (= Culloden Fight), The Norfolk Freeholders, The German Dance.
